Partner

Introduction

A partner is a company or institution that works together with edSPIRIT to provide online courses and programs. These collaborators may be colleges, universities, research centers, or other institutions.

Partner Settings Page

To access the partner settings page, click on the Partner option in the left menu under the Landing Page section.

The partner’s information is displayed on this page.

Full Name: It indicates the name of the partner.

Slug (Organization’s name used in Course Studio): It means "indicating the name of the organization that was used when creating the course in the Studio."

Visible: Shows whether the partner is visible on the platform.
Featured: Indicates whether the partner is marked to be displayed at the bottom of the homepage.
Action: By clicking on the Edit option in this column, you can change the partner information.

Searching for a Partner

To search for a partner, enter the desired partner in the partner search box and click on the Search button.

Creating a Partner

Follow these steps to create a partner:
1. Click on the Add button.
2. Enter the partner's name in the provided Full Name box.
3. Enter the Slug (Organization’s name used in Course Studio): a unique, URL-friendly name containing only letters, numbers, underscores, or hyphens.
The URL slug's short name is important for creating user-friendly and memorable web addresses. It should be concise, meaningful, and free of special characters. Short slugs improve readability, shareability, and search engine optimization.

The Slug cannot be changed once set, even if the organization’s full name changes in the future.

4. Enter the Welcome Message in the designated field.
5. Check the Featured checkbox if you want the partner to be displayed at the bottom of the homepage.
6.Check the Visible checkbox if you want the partner to appear on the partner page.
7. By clicking on the Browse option in the Logo section, upload the partner's logo. Recommended image attributes: Width-to-height aspect ratio 2:1, 200px max.
8. By clicking on the Browse option in the Header section, upload the header's logo. Recommended image attributes: Width-to-height aspect ratio 4:1, and 1400px max.
9.  Click on the Save button.
