What is SaaS, and what does edSPIRIT offer as a SaaS platform of Open edX?
Software as a service (SaaS) is a software delivery and licensing paradigm in which software is centrally hosted and licensed on a subscription basis. On-demand software and web-based/web-hosted software are other names for SaaS. SaaS is regarded as a component of cloud computing.
