Setting the Grace Period

Setting the Grace Period

By setting a grace period for your learners, you can give them extra time to submit their coursework. This single grace period extends the due date of all assignments in the course and cannot be specified individually per assignment.

The following assignments and exams are not impacted by the grace period settings:
  1. Timed exam
  2. Proctored exams.
  3. Open response assessments.

On the Grading page, you will find Grading Rules & Policies as well. Therein lies a field for Grace Period on Deadline that requires an entry in a HH:MM format to be completed.
